Marketing Project Manager

Charles Cleyn Music is looking to hire a Marketing Project Manager (full time or part time).

I’m Charles, I’m a songwriter, producer, performer, marketer, and teacher. I’ve written over 200 songs, built a YouTube channel of 80K subscribers, toured Canada and Europe, won a Berlin Music Video Award, and now, I’m looking for someone to help me 10x my business.

The title 'Marketing Project Manager' is not a one size fits all job. It’s a mix of things. Like admin tasks + strategic tasks. For example, it’s possible you could be replying to comments or doing scheduling but then equally possible to be managing a marketing budget and implementing your own growth ideas. I’m looking for a person who wants to do a mix of everything.

We might be a good fit if you answer yes to these questions:

  • Do you like chaos and doing multiple things at once?
  • Are you an optimistic and engaged person?
  • Do you thrive in an environment where you're not being told what to do?
  • Do you enjoy working your own hours?
  • Do you like admin tasks with a mix of strategic tasks?

You’ve ideally done these things before:

  • content marketing and seo
  • paid marketing
  • conversion optimization
  • scheduling and booking
  • social media marketing
  • project management with 5+ more stakeholders
  • admin tasks
  • you love music
  • you know what Logic Pro is and you're keen to learn

Above all, you are analytical, creative, and willing to learn. I’d rather have a partner who is keen to learn and grow than anything else.

Here is a potential list of what you might do:

  • write blog posts about music production
  • edit youtube videos
  • implement your own growth ideas
  • manage sponsorships and social media
  • reply to emails and comments
  • optimize current marketing flows
  • run paid ads
  • manage booking and scheduling
  • manage other stakeholders working for our team

If you're keen, the sky is the limit. I come from a background in Product and Marketing. I was an early employee at Shopify and I helped the company scale their product, marketing, and employees. I'll teach you everything I know.

Last thing,

Is this a senior job or a junior job?

It’s kind of both. You’ll likely do a mix of “senior” things but then I’m going to ask you to do some “junior” things as well. Let’s call it intermediate? Either way, if you are intrigued then I encourage you to apply. We can talk about money later.

Send me an email [email protected] and let me know how you might be able to help.
